My daughter has BOR, confirmed EYA1 through genetic testing. She has mild/moderate hearing loss, had skin tags, preauciluar sinus and branchial cyst all removed. We have been told her kidneys are fine and our doctors have told us that if her kidneys are fine from birth there isn't any reason to worry about complications later down the track. I have read about people developing kidney problems later in life and it had been misdiagnosed as BOR syndrome which makes me wonder if it is possible that kidney complications might develop later on in life?

Any input or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
